Marelyn Rivera, Founder & CEO
Marelyn Rivera is the Founder & CEO of Conexión Strategies, bringing over a decade of experience in public affairs, community engagement, and bilingual communications across New Jersey.
A first-generation Jersey Latina with deep roots in advocacy and public service, Marelyn has built her career at the intersection of culture, community, and strategy. Her work has consistently focused on elevating Latino and Hispanic voices, expanding civic participation, and strengthening the pathways between institutions and the communities they serve.
Before launching Conexión Strategies, Marelyn held key leadership roles in state government and community-based initiatives, where she developed and executed high-impact outreach strategies, managed statewide programs, and cultivated trusted partnerships across sectors. Her ability to move seamlessly between government, grassroots leaders, and local organizations has made her a respected connector and strategist throughout the state.
At the heart of her work is a simple belief: communication is community power. Marelyn founded Conexion Strategies to help organizations communicate more authentically, build deeper relationships, and reach communities through messaging that is culturally grounded, bilingual, and meaningful.
